Most of our income is derived from the companies providing your insurance and retirement programs. As your Broker-of-Record, compensation is included from the carriers that provide these products. Our primary job as your benefits consultant is to evaluate and monitor your plans to make sure they are meeting your needs. We comparison shop your plans and make recommendations if they are not meeting your objectives. If we develop new or modify existing plans, we implement any changes and make sure your employees understand how they work. We also work hard to provide solutions with any type of compliance issue.

Integration means we provide many additional resources to help reduce your costs, make your staff more efficient, create more value for your employee or just make your programs work better. Although we are not Attorney's, CPA's, HR Professional's, Investment Advisor's or Financial Planner's, our experience allows us to provide the necessary support to help save you money with your benefits responsibilities. Legal Support

As an employee benefit plan sponsor, there are numerous laws and regulations that you must follow to keep your plans in compliance:

As your benefits consultant, we review your plan documents and will assist with drafting new or modifying existing documents. If you or your employees have legal questions on your benefits, we have extensive reference materials and will provide research to answer questions. e keep current on laws that affect your program and are very active with the National Association of Health Underwriters to promote and lobby appropriate legislation. Tax and Accounting

Accurate accounting and financial modeling is a necessary part of managing your benefit programs. As your benefits consultant, we provide financial cost benchmarking and modeling as you design your program each year. If you utilize our HR and Enrollment technology, we will complete enrollment and cost data reporting to review the effectiveness of your programs. We will review how your current plans are set up in you payroll and financial statements and assist your payroll department, payroll processor or accounting department in setting up complex benefit plans for payroll and tax reporting. If you offer Consumer Directed Health Care, we will also assist employees with understanding how their personal income tax is affected by your programs and what reporting they need to complete.

Employers also have a fiduciary responsibility to review and provide adequate investment choices in their retirement plans. We provide investment policy statements and review retirement program investment options to help our clients meet their obligations. We also provide retirement plan education for employees of our clients and will assist employees with understanding contribution limits, loans and hardship provisions and will help rollover employee's account balances upon termination of employment.

Financial Planner

Employees depend on their jobs to meet their family's financial needs. With benefits reaching as much as 40% of the employees compensation, we strive to help your employees understand how insurance, saving and investing programs fit into their financial plans.
